Hands down best long black coffee I've had in NZ. Food has a good selection and its reasonably priced with the exception of pies. I saw pizzas which looked amazing and many people order it. Amazing views of the mountains if you can get outdoor table.

We spent a couple of hours here. ( Me and kids). The food was decent but not fantastic, and the items in general were quite pricey (then again its a hotel within the reserve so thats to be expected) Service was okay, 4 stars overall taking into account the spectacular view, location, bathroom, kids play area and general food quality, but I would say get a simple meal and drink and have it outside to get the best of the place. No single pizza slices available. Long but fast moving lines. Rough prices for what I ordered were: Small beer 13 Drinks 7 Fries 9 Paninis and rolls 10-13

We spent an hour getting lunch here a few days back. My kids loved the veggie pizza and the desserts. While us( the parents), loved their coffee.

Opens from 10 am for brunch. Great spread of sandwiches, rolls, and pies. Soups with bread and pizzas for family. Awesome view of Aoraki/Mount Cook.
